Nature Based
Nature provides endless opportunities for play and learning through children's natural curiosities and sense of wonder. Fostering children's relationships to nature also provides them with a foundation for a lifelong relationship, understanding and respect for the nature around them.
Play Based
Children learn best through play with peers and with adults. Lots of free play opportunities are available throughout the day. A variety of toys and materials are accessible to the children outside and inside. Many of the materials are open ended, natural loose parts that stimulates children's creativity, problem solving, motor skills, social skills, and more.
Emergent
Children are filled with a natural instinct to learn about the world around them. When the children show a particular interest in a subject the programing reflects that interest and provides materials and activities that stimulate them to learn and explore the area of interest. The programming is always changing as the interests of the children also changes and evolves.
